Lucas is an upbeat boy, with an overly optimistic view on life. He is always on hand with a good joke and a funny one liner, and it doesnt take much for him to see the silver lining. For Lucas there is always a bright side in his world. Brought up to be optimistic about almost everything, there is never a dull moment with Lucas, because everything is bright and colourful. His infectious positivity makes him one of the most popular people about, and its not unusual for people to be immeadiatly attracted to him just because of this. It's rare for people personalities to shine through without them having to say something, but in Lucas's case, it is possible and exactly what happens. Another aspect of Lucas's positivity is that he always has a way of improving peoples moods. If someone is upset, or if someone is angry, he can quickly bring them up on the mood scale with a small smile, or a large oversized joke that can make you laugh so hard it can give you a mirgrane. Inside Lucas is a comedian at heart, and most things he can relate to a joke, but that doesn't mean he can't be serious and caring.
If his friends need him, Lucas is there in a shot. He isn't the type of person who needs to be asked twice to help them, and come rain or shine, 2am or 2pm, he will be there as quickly as he can. When it comes to having a heart to heart with Lucas, it is like talking to adult. Often called an old head on young shoulders, Lucas knows things beyond his years. Having had bad experiences in the past himself, with friends and with family, he can often apply his own emotions and personal touch when giving advice, and while it may not always do the trick, or people may not always choose to take his advice, it doesn't mean it is any less relevant or good. Overall, on the caring department, Lucas knows what he is talking about, and he can really provide some of the most solid and sound advice there is to be getting.
Contradicting his kind nature and infectiously nice personality, is his inability to see passed looks most of the time. With Lucas it is important to look good, and be seen with people who look good too. It isnt enough for him to be with people who just have a nice personality, you have to look good on his arm. Notorious for hanging with some of the most beautiful people, it isnt normal for him to be seen with someone like a geek, or one of those metal heads. Lucas is easily swayed by a pretty face, and as one of his major flaws, he is always seen sneaking in and out of different girls rooms, using and abusing them then tossing them away when he's done. Baring in mind though, they are only pretty girls. So far in his life, Lucas has not had a serious relationship, and it would take an amazing girl to change that. Overall, he is only a boy for a one night stand, not a long term relationship.
The last main aspect of Lucas's personality is that he cannot cope under pressure. Be it with an exam, at work or just in general life, he is a panicker and always has been. He always jumps to the worst conclusion, and it doesn't take much to send him into a downward spiral of panic. He is the type of person that jumps to conclusions, and surprisingly it only adds to his ability to alluring. Most people argue that his headless chicken panicky ways make him seem cute, and down to earth. Being brought up in a rich posh enviroment, this little aspect of his personality makes him seem more approachable. However Lucas is an extremely proud character, who will defend himself and his family if any one messes with them, however because of the pride he has he is often quick to judge and criticize something as not being good enough for him. In Lucas’s eyes he is better than most people and can be described as thingyy and arrogait can be argued that he is arrogant, when really he is just very sure of himself and has an abundant confidence.
now, now darling oh don't lose your head ,,
hometown: Moscow, Russia
history: Before there was Lucas...
Moscow, Russia 1988. On a business trip with one of the most recognised corporate giants, Harold Milton an ambitious man never dreamt he'd fall in love. But he did, with someone from a totally different side of the tracks. Daria Brovushkina was a young girl with little education and no a lot of money. Working as a barmaid she'd seen it all, but when she met Harold it was different. He, although older than her and more experienced in the world, seemed flustered and didn't know what to do with himself. He seemed awkward sitting at the bar amongst all the rowdy vodka drinkers, and clutching his glass Daria knew he was more than out of his comfort zone. He'd wandered miles from it. After only a short time dating, there was no denying it, they needed each other and at first it was love. A few short months later they were married, and not long after that, they were married. Following this, they moved back to the states, much to Daria's parents dismay. They didn't like Harold, to them, he was vindictive and a money grabber, and to be with someone 9 years his junior to them was just unthinkable. But with Lucas on the way, staying in Russia was out of the question, they needed to be back where Harold was beyond financially secure. And so, nine months later and living in California, Lucas began his adventure in the world.
Pre-School.
You might think, "Pre-school, not much to report." But in Lucas's case boy are you wrong. For Lucas, Pre-school was where the trouble started. His main problem; His parents loved him. Possibly a bit too much. You see these cases all the time, parents who love their kids and overfeed them until they can't squeeze through the door anymore. As a pre-schooler Lucas was fat, so fat that he was basically a walking advert for the young obese, and as it is known, kids can be cruel. During his years before school he found it hard to have fun with kids, because if he didn't get tired out from running around quicker than they did, then there was two other things for him to compete with.
He was either the butt of the joke, or the root of vicious taunts. Jokes, he could take in good heart with an easy pinch of salt. He could understand that yes, he probably did look like a squashed up marshmellow with his overtly pale skin and pink lips and fat everything else, and it probably was a sight watching him try to run along with the other kids. Jokes were to be expected. But the cruel taunts were just too much. It wasn't the usual 'fatboy' names or the 'podgy' remarks. It was the actual abuse from older kids that Lucas couldn't stand. It hurt having the older boys, the ones that were stylish and got all the girls and drove those nice cars call him names and poke fun at him that wasn't meant to be funny. But what hurt most was that these were the people Lucas looked up too, the sort of people he wanted to be. Gunning through the pre-school years he tried to ignore the jibes thrown at him, and by the time he entered his early years at Junior high, nothing had improved.
Junior High.
Still fat. Still at school. Still unhappy. It was one thing to be a podgy child, but to be podgy as a teenager wasn't a good sign. Because as a teenager you are no longer podgy, you're fat. It was during the Junior high years that Lucas realised he had to do something about this large burden in his life. He sat back and watched as the skinny athletic boys got all the girls, and to him it was like replaying the whole of his early childhood. He found it hard to take part in gym classes, and he did everything and anything to avoid taking part in them, often bunking off and causing trouble for his parents.
It was in Junior high when the affair happened. His mother had always been faithful to Harold. They'd met and fallen in love afterall, and she'd moved all the way across the world to be with him. She loved him. Not so much apparently. There had been another man, someone who worked within the company at his fathers growing business, and with his fathers new promotion under his belt, Harold was spending less time at home. The abscence of her husband had created a loneliness that Daria attended to by taking a toyboy boyfriend. It had been kept secret for almost a year before Harold found out. When he did, he threatened to have Daria thrown out, and for only a few weeks she did leave, leaving Lucas behind. However when she failed to support herself financially, she returned, becoming submissive to Harolds power. It was obvious from then on that there was no love anymore in the relationship, and they were purely together for the sake of security.
High School and Graduation.
After the affair and the painful years at Junior high, the stress had gotten to Lucas. It was only after a real heart to heart with his nanny that he got on the health food track. The only thing he began to eat was vegetables and fruit, becoming a devote vegetarian, and quickly he shed all the weight that had been holding him back for years. With his new lean body came a new found confidence and soon he was catching up with the rest of the boys, deflowering girls with the best of them. Soon he had turned into one of the boys who had picked on him, and what was the real difference in Lucas, was that he had become a bully himself, picking on those who he used to be like. His problems with his weight as a child are one of the main reasons why he has become so shallow as an adult. For Lucas, it was definatly high school that were his best years. Distancing himself from his bickering loveless parents and becoming a complete playboy, he found a new popularity and made a name for himself along with an extensive reputation that exceeds him now, even in his first year of university. Towards the end of his highschool, nearing graduation, he faced the hard task of moving on. Having regained some sort of self confidence with his new (and improved) bod, it meant he would have to start over again. Which turned out to be not so bad.
Entering Uni was a big thing. His father was straight out of high school into the business side of life, working his way up the corporate ladder without qualifications behind him. Lucas however plans to be different. Unlike both his parents, who as rich as they are come together to be as thick as too planks of wood, he intends fully to have a career. Being the first one in his family to attend Uni at first, pleased his parents. Until he told them exactly what he would be studying. Art. Not very highly thought of in Harold Milton's world, he quickly let his son know just how displeased he was with the choice of subject to study. Lucas's reaction was to leave, telling him that 'you can suck it!'. Pain, blunt and too the point.
Trading in his wealthy abode in Valks, he resides in Shaks, slumming it with the best of him. He does this half to spite his parents and half because it is a great place to draw inspiration from for his art work. When his father first found out Lucas would be living in Shaks, he hit the roof, blaming Daria. While he may be on rocky terms with his mother, he wasnt about to let her take the fall and he quickly set his father right, telling him he intended to live in Shaks because of the plain blunt reason that his parents didnt. The farther away he got from the better, and while he is never short on money, Lucas seemingly lives a penniless artists exsistence, spending most of his money on expensive paints and health food. (He dooesn't even bother purchasing painting overalls! ;] Just paints in his boxers.) So that takes us to now, where Lucas is currently flitting about from one night stand to one night stand, painting in the nude and flashing about his skills, free of his parents until allowance day comes round every month.

roleplay sample:Are you planning on waking up? Lukas groaned, cursing under his breath and throwing his arm over his eyes in a big too keep the thought of waking up out. While he had no real need for sleep, that didn't mean he didn't entertain the idea. It was a good thing. His body always felt relaxed after sleep better than it did after just a few minutes rest. His rigorous excersise regime day after day took its toll, and no matter how quickly he seemed to heal, he never really felt as rejuvinated as he did after a good nights sleep. He could see why the humans enjoyed it so much. Rolling out of bed he ignored the voice in his head, glancing at the girl in his bed. He didn't know her name and didn't plan to find out by sticking around. Slowing but with a growing pace, he slinked around, grabbing his clothes that were scattered on the floor and sliding from the room as quietly as possible. Walking through the girls dorms he ignited whispers which only made him smirk. He'd had most of the girls here. Repeatedly he might have added, but they still never failed to look at him as if he were something new to the world. It was exciting and annoying all at the same time. A pleasure and a burden.
When he was clear of the girls dorm he found himself wandering towards the sports field. He could smell the athletisim already, and it was too heavy a scent for the morning. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a crumpled packet of indian ciggerattes. The familiar smell of tobacco invaded his senses, and placing the ciggeratte in his mouth and lighting up with a clipper lighter he sighed, deep and relieved. "Thank god for the small pleasures." He smiled, sucking in a deep drag. Cancer was the least of his worries, seeing as it would never plague him, he smoked vaguely similarly to a chimmeny. As he walked he nodded and smiled at some of his friends, and even some people he didn't even recall names of. They were mostly guys. He couldn't keep girls as friends, everything got too complicated when you were friends with girls, and they always seemed to expect more. Like love.
The idea made him queasy, and finding a spot near a near a gym class that was taking place, he pushed the feeling back down. He couldn't understand people who fell in love. He'd seen it happen first hand and all that came from it was weakness. He was lucky in that aspect not to show weakness, he was strong both physically and mentally, and for years he'd psyched himself for the Games, waiting for them. Love was an after thought, and it was no secret that girls fawned over him, trying to be the one who would change his opinion on love. The boys however looked up to him, part of him thought they admired his strength, but around the academy, admiration wasn't a quality most shared. It was mostly jealousy. Lukas had lost count of the times he'd been challenged, and damn his pride he could never turn a challenge down.
Sucking in another drag on his ciggeratte, Lukas watched the Junior gym class closely. There was something about the way they ran, the way they seemed eager to please and too over sure of themselves. While there was only a year or so difference between the seniors and Juniors, Lukas couldn't help but feel a certain superiority over them. His friends shared his views, and a couple walking passed laughed, waving at him. "Watching the competition again?" Lukas laughed, waving back and shrugging. "You know me, I just like to know what I'm up against." That was true in a sense. Mostly he just liked to know how he could beat people. His competitivness was infamous, and stubbing out his ciggeratte he unglued his eyes from them for just a minute. It was cold out, and he wished to feel a slight bit of warmth. He hated the cold, as much as he hated the cold of his own skin. He sighed, and began to watch again, his interest in the action waning more and more within the second.!
