personality:
Stevie is a very caring, sweet girl. She's always there for her friends, no matter what they need. Whether it be boy troubles or drama between their other friends. Even if she is sick of hearing it, she'll still be there. She is not the type of girl who will sit there and nod, adding a few words of sympathy every now and then. Stevie actually likes to help people. She will give them any advice that she can possibly think of. But, if she has something harsh or rude to say, she can keep her mouth shut. If it comes to a problem between two friends, she won't take sides. Merely help them both and try to help them work out their problems. Something she is not good with is parents who hurt their kids. If one of her friends were to come up to her and talk to her about how her dad got drunk the night before, that would be the moment when she would be at a loss for words. As much as she likes to help, sometimes she just can't. She is human, after all.
Around people who she has just met, she may seem like a typical shy girl. But, once you actually get to know her, and she feels comfortable around you (which does not take long if you are outgoing) she will be one of the loudest people you know. Stevie is a very outgoing person and when she is around her friends, she isn't afraid to show out loud she can get. But, when she is stuck alone in a crowd of people she does not know, then things are going to be different. In class, she'll try to be quiet and pay attention to what she is suppose to be learning. But, the minute she can sit next to one of her good friends, her grades will in no doubt slip due to her constantly chit-chatting through the class.
When situations get shot at her, she's a rather amazing actress. Falling into the sarcasm bit this girl has to herself. When something happens she's the type of girl who can sometimes blow it up to be bigger than it really is, just to simply get peoples energy up and freaking out. Sarcasm is also something that falls into her personality. Even when Stevie doesn't mean to do it sometimes, it always ends up happening at one point or another. Sometimes, she'll over do it. But, she tries to not let that happen too much.
Lying. She may seem sweet and innocent from afar (hahah), but she can keep a straight face when she is lying to people. Whether she is joking around or trying to get away with something around her parents or around teachers. Her sweet, innocent ways don't really make people expect the worse from her, which helps her even more in the category. Stevie doesn't lie too much. For the simple reason that she will most likely feel like crap later on, but when desperate times call for desperate measures, she has to do what she has to do.
Her low temper has to fit in there somewhere. She tries her best to not crack, but Stevie's blood gets boiling rather fast. It doesn't help if you are already on her bad side. If that is the case, her patience is even less around you. Mainly she just gets driven insane by her parents, which she has never really understood why. But, with her friends, she is able to hide it a bit better. Title of an actress falls into place once again. But, don't get her wrong, she is normally an incredibly happy girl. She loves her life, and she loves smiling. Not to mention putting smiles on other peoples faces. She lives for that. Even if she has to act like a total moron to do it. She gets to see a smile and have fun at the same time.
If she sees a cute boy, she isn't going to completely restrain herself and wait for him to come and talk to her. She isn't going to stand around and wait. If he's that cute, she wouldn't even be able to wait that long anyway. Stevie isn't afraid to go and introduce herself, flirt a bit. She's never been the one to think too highly of herself, but that has never held her back from what she wants. When it comes to relationships, she hates moving into one too fast. She finds it to be so much more fun to take her time and have fun with it a bit before totally devoting herself to another person.
Stevie is the type of girl that will say hi to everyone she knows in the street, and even at times people that she doesn't know. She has always loved to be able to put a smile on someone’s face. Sometimes people have shit days, and just by having someone say hi to them in the street, it shows that someone has had them on their mind that day. Sometimes it gets her in the awkward situations. The one where you wave at people in the street, when they were looking in your direction but they didn't exactly see you, so they walk away and don't wave back, making her stand there looking like a moron. Anyway. She's always as polite as she can be to people. She hates judging people she doesn't know, and always tries to be the best she can be.
One thing to know about Stevie is that she loves drinking.. and, well, it's kind of a problem. Just like it happens to everyone else out there. But, if she has a little bit too much to drink, she can get a bit crazy. Yeah, even more crazy than usual. If that's even possible. This is the main time when her temper is incredibly short sometimes and she'll start throwing shit and going crazy. But, most of the time, it's a fun thing to have her drunk. She can be entertaining as hell and be one hell of an fun person to hang around when you have nothing better to do.
Art has always been Stevie's biggest passion. Even her parents who pretty much hate her could tell you that. Even when she was younger she spent countless hours with her crayons drawing. It's just always been that thing that understood her the best. Her home is filled with some of her own creations and she even has a room in her home devoted just to painting. Where she spends countless hours every week just doing what she does best. She's surprised at how far she has gotten already and she hopes to go a lot further too.
She hates to use it as a word to describe herself, but it is something that she can't exactly avoid. Absolutely no one out there knows of Stevie's past with bulimia, and absolutely no one knows about how she's been struggling to fight it and keep it from returning. She isn't sure how she started doing it, but she did and she regrets it with every fiber of her being. It's torn her apart and it's gotten into her head. The main thing that Stevie needs is someone that she can spill about everything that has been happening to her, but that's something that she's too afraid to do.
now, now darling oh don't lose your head ,,
hometown: virginia beach, virginia
history:
- February 14, twenty years ago Stevie Annmarie and Ophelia Anne were born to Steffan and Samantha Christensen. The two of them grew up to be incredibly close, just like any twins would probably be growing up. But, this closeness and bond that they shared only lasted until for their first four years of life.
- When Stevie and Ophelia were around four years old, Steffan and Samantha decided on a divorce, coming to a conclusion that their marriage wasn't running smoothly nor the way that they wanted it to run. Stevie Annmarie ended up sticking around Virginia Beach with their father, while Ophelia was taken miles away to live with their mother. The distance between the two sisters was large and they tried their best to see each other as much as possible, though it was rare since the only transportation was by plane.
- On Ophelia's side of life, Samantha was constantly getting remarried and having divorces like it was some sort of game, not caring what kind of an impact it was putting on the young girl. Ophelia devolved a dysfunctional view on relationships and what her mom was putting off to be as love. Stevie grew up seeing her father suffer every single day from his heart having been broken by the love of his life, because he still missed her dearly. Six divorces later on Ophelia's side, the girls were now sixteen years old.
- Ophelia rapidly decided that she had had enough of it and moved back in with her dad, figuring that he was stable enough since he never really got over Samantha. Stevie and Ophelia rapidly reconnect, excited to have each other back in their lives.
- Samantha ended up coming along with her though and succeeded at 'rekindling' her relationship with Steffan. Both Stevie and Steffan ignored Ophelia's wise words at how her mother was only trying to get back to him for his money. When her words went ignored, Stevie and their father were both proven wrong.
- Stevie's relationship with Ophelia rapidly went down the drain and fell even harder when their mother left town as soon as the two girls graduated high school. Pissed off that nobody believed her, Ophelia leaves the house.
- Ophelia sleeps with Stevie's first love.
- Their relationship sucks even further.
- Stevie decides she is moving out of her fathers house as well and ends up moving in with Ophelia, where they somewhat make-up but still fail to show it since they're both still bitter as hell.

your name/alias: steff, duuurrrr.
your age: fifteen
roleplay experience: on my fifth.
read the rules: loose lips sink ships.
roleplay sample:A lot of people threw the same words around frequently. That they didn't know where in the world they would be without so and so in there life or that their life would be completely pointless without them. Stevie fell under the category of people that said that about somebody else, but whenever she thought to herself or even said it out loud about Nate she had always meant every word. There were so many people in Stevie's life. Her close friends, her okay friends, all of those acquaintances, but there was nobody who could possibly compare to Nate. The guy had been there for her every single time that she had needed him. Every phone call at one in the morning, he had answered and if she had needed him to, he had been at her house in less than ten minutes. When it came to Stevie, Nate had seen every tear and certainly every smile. He knew every problem, almost every word exchanged, every story. The relationship she had with him both friendship and the love aspect of it was the strongest she had ever been in. Their relationship was so solid, so unshakable that it blew her mind how someone could stick around and listen to everything she had to say and every problem and not run as fast as they could in the other direction. Just when Stevie thought that she could not be any more in love with Nate, he always managed to find a way to make her fall more and more every single day. Unlike all of those other people that simply said the words to have something to say, Stevie knew for a fact she didn't know what kind of person she would be today or where she would be today if she hadn't had Nate there for her all of that time.
Stevie was still trying to figure out how to go through her life without him in it the way he was just a month ago. Sometimes she even wondered what those years had been if she had never even met him. One thing she was completely sure about; they wouldn't have been as incredible and joyous. Because those years she had allowed herself to let go completely in a way that she had never once done before. She had let herself become completely vulnerable and know what it was like to love someone more than anything else in the world. The second that Nate wasn't around all the time, she didn't know what to do with herself. The atmosphere was completely different when she was left in a room alone. Stevie was suddenly hesitant with every little motion that she made, because she didn't have him right there by her side to do it with her. The minute that Nate had left, she realized just how much he was constantly around, just how much she leaned on him and needed him in her life. If Nate had seen just how different her life was now that he was gone, it would have blown him away. Because Stevie was a completely different girl when she was torn apart the way that she was when she let him go. Everyone knew her for being that insane, lovable girl. For being so care-free, knowing how to enjoy life and still knowing when to get serious and get down to business. But, lately, it hadn't been any of that. She had gone most of high school with a motivation to do well; feeling so happy that she didn't even know she was really working. She was always in that upbeat mood knowing that in x amount of time she would be able to see and be in Nate's arms again. This time around, her motivation was below zero, because she knew there wasn't any amount of time that she would be with him again. Her chances were shot to hell and she wasn't expecting anything to happen. She had been dumb enough to let him go and that's all that crossed her mind.
That medium-sized home were the only walls that Stevie really knew this past month. This usual party-girl that could be found at any and every party, big or small, had left the house one time. One time. Had slept with one guy trying to get over Nate. One guy. That one party that held onto that one epic fail at trying to get over the one guy that was and always would be on her mind, was one of the reasons why she kept herself locked up in her house. The night she had come back from that party had consisted of her crawling into bed and crying herself to sleep. How in the world Stevie could have even begun to believe that sleeping with someone else might have helped her get over some of that pain she was feeling was something that she was still trying to figure out. But, she had done it and all she knew was that it wasn't Nate Reese; the one person that she wished it had been. Any time before that and after that, Stevie had only left her house to go to either a) school or b) work. She had managed to hoard herself up in her room, coming down to fix herself dinner before her parents came home and sneaking back upstairs. She didn't dare come down when her parents were home, because she knew exactly what would be coming in her direction. Harsh words and bitter laughter. They had told her straight up from the minute they had found out she was dating him that it wasn't going to last forever. It was a slap across the face every time they got the chance to tell her 'i told you so'.
Yes, Stevie was well aware that she couldn't go on living the way that she was living. Sitting up in her room and doing nothing but homework, writing and indulging herself in different alcohol to pass the time wasn't going to help her get over anything. Stevie tried her best to convince herself she needed to get the hell out of the house and she even had a few people threatening to drag her out of there themselves. But, nothing felt right anymore. Going out to have a good time wasn't even a good time, it was just hell without the one person that made it a good time. Ironic how one of the reasons she cut it off was so that she could party more and not have to worry. Now, she wasn't partying and she was feeling more like shit than she ever would in her lifetime. It didn't matter how much alcohol she consumed, because whenever that wore off the memories would hit her even harder than they did before. Stevie felt completely and utterly hopeless to the point where some may have even found it pathetic.. others may have found it to show just how much she really loved the guy. She never thought she would know the feeling of love so clearly and intensely, but she had gotten the chance to experience it so early in her life. It baffled her mind how she could have felt so fabulous, so care-free, so high and the minute she lacked it, she was down in the pits of hell.. or at least it couldn't have felt more like it.
What had crossed her mind just before Stevie had pressed her lips against Nate's for the first time in far too long was quite simple. It was a mixture of not thinking and just wanting to remind herself of how good it really felt. The minute that her fingertips grazed across his cheek, her heart was already racing again. You can only imagine how it felt once her lips actually came together with his again. Stevie was just about to pull away, or planned on pulling away since she probably wouldn't have, but Nate was already kissing back softly, his hands were already coming up and around her body. What? This couldn't be happening. Stevie wasn't sure why she felt so surprised by all of it. He had told her himself that he still loved her. Words couldn't even begin to explain how good it felt, how right it felt, how perfect it felt to be right back where she had been so many times before. All of those memories of how she had woken him up the exact same way so many times before came flooding back into her mind. Those bittersweet memories became sweeter and sweeter with every passing second, but it didn't last long. Because almost as quickly as it all had started, it was over and Stevie's nerves were just about to get the best of her again as soon as she pulled back. Those bright eyes of hers met his again, teeth biting her lower lip lightly as she grew more and more nervous at how surprised he looked. Looking down at her lap, Stevie waited for a good few seconds for Nate to say something. But, there came a point where she knew he wasn't going to.
It wasn't like Stevie could honestly go and expect him to say anything to that. Nate was probably waiting for an explanation as that what in the world had just happened and why. Taking a long, deep breath she suddenly and with no hint of hesitation grabbed his left hand and slowly brought it over to her chest, just above the spot where her heart was beating uncontrollably. She held it there for a moment, her hand above his as she looked down for another few seconds and then looked back up at him. "You feel that?" Her tone was barely above the hum of a whisper with those three words, but gradually got a bit louder as she continued on. "Almost two years.. and you.. and you still do that to me." Her teeth clenched together as she tried with all of her strength to not just completely break down in front of him. Slowly, Stevie was beginning to fail as her eyes glazed over her slightly. "Please, Nate.. At this point, I'll -- I'll take whatever I can get with you - an hour, a night, a week. Anything.." It wasn't something that you heard coming out of Stevie every day, but she was actually pleading with Nate at this point. She didn't care how that may have made her seem so weak when she had handled so much. She didn't just want to be with him anymore, she needed it. "I just need to be with you again.."
